Greg Adamo - Jimmy John's Greg is one of the most solid players in the league. With a reputable soccer history, Greg has managed to lead his team, along with his counter-part Jeremy Dahl, to many victories. Greg has always got the right outlook and perspective on the game. This along with his positive attitude wins him the respect of his teammates, which makes him an incredible leader! Congratulations on your 12 goals this regular season! Here are the top scorers: |

This Mayan god was responsible for warding off damp spells that could ruin crops. In our case, we need CHACmool to keep our fields dry. This has been the WORST Spring season for rain! The dentisty alone of the showers did way more damage than the frequency. Keep Mr. Mool in your thoughts for next season. More... |

SPRING '09 CHAC CUP TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS ARE MANX!
END OF SEASON PARTY AT SUNSET GRILLE SUN MAY 31 6-8PM
What a match! Probably the best I've witnessed in the CHAC league. Both teams were equally determined. Battling in the air and on the ground for every possession. The dominance of play came in waves, with each team taking turns gaining more control over the game. With this dominance came the opportunities on goal, which both teams had plenty of. Jimmy Johns may have had more targeted opportunities, but ManX's keeper Kelly denied Jimmy Johns their goals with excellent saves! In the end of regulation no player could manage a goal, and no keeper would allow one. The game then went into over time, 2 full 10 min halves. Still, the same intensity was there - the want to win! Then the referee blew the whistle - what every soccer player dreads! On to PKs. Both teams left the fate of their match up to probability. Eventually one shot will get missed or blocked. Unfortunately that was the fate for Jimmy Johns. ManX then had to secure the win by making their 5th goal, and they did! Both teams were content with their performance as were the spectators. One thing is for sure, this is not your grand-fathers soccer league, and every team in the league should be proud to be able to play at such a level. Congratulations to you all, especially ManX! You've earned it! Will be adding some footage of the game to YouTube - so keep checking.
Congratulations to ManX - our Spring '09 Regular Season Champions!
