CHAC CUP CHAMPIONS
ManX are the Fall 09 CHAC CUP CHAMPS! We've seen the final match up between Jimmy John's and ManX for a few seasons now, and I must say, they keep raising the bar on one another. This final was a very even game. The officiating was also par. Both keepers were skilled, and had no major erros. All the players on the field were hustling, getting the ball to feet, bringing the ball down and putting it in play, gaining control in the air, placing the ball into space, and creating opportunities. It was really just a matter striking the ball accurately when the opportunity presented itself, and then following the shot. ManX managed to edge out JJ with this last aspect of the game. Congratulations to both teams! And good luck to ManX in state cup this weekend!

Our last select team that went to Copa Peru did the best we have in years! We had more dedicated players and the skill level was heightened. Scott Meguid - Milltown 13

What a great addition to Milltown! Neil Meguid's little brother sure is making a name for himself. Not like this anything new for Scott. He's home grown having played for CASL and then for Guilford college. It looks like wherever Scott goes he's sure to leave a mark. And so he has here at CHAC. It is rumor that Scott had a little extra incentive to be the goal scoring champ. Looks like there was an underlying bet with Aaron on his team on who would be the champ (don't give up Aaron - you got this!). Plus Scott wanted to dedicate his 'Goal Scoring Champ' title to his older bro - awe, how sweet!
